A 2-day retreat to deep dive into functional movement & nutrition

To help you be the healthiest version of yourself

learn how to eat well, move well & have fun in the process

A RETREAT RUN BY A QUALIFIED PHYSIOTHERAPIST & PERSONAL TRAINER

Hi! I’m Mary, your retreat host.

I have a background in Physiotherapy and am currently a Personal Trainer with over 15 years combined experience.

I love nothing more than to help women understand how to move their bodies well, building strength and stability as well as learning how to nourish themselves well with good nutrition.

I hit Menopause at the age of 41 and know all too well the impact this can have on motivation, self-confidence, energy levels, sleep quality, mental health, physical changes and how we perceive ourselves.

This has motivated me more than ever to reach as many women as I can and help you to realise the potential you have and give you the tools you need to maintain a balanced, healthy, energised life.

Our very first retreat will be held in port elliot (1hr 15mins outside of Adelaide cbd) on Friday 28th february - Sunday 2nd march with the option of staying overnight (arrive from 3pm friday, depart around 7:30pm/8pm sunday after dinner)

or

attending for the daytime only (8:30am - 5:30pm saturday & sunday).

The lovely beachside home we have secured for our upcoming retreat in Port Elliot, South Australia.

Some of what we’ll be covering during your time with us:

  • Daily walks

  • A Functional Strength movement assessment followed by a bodyweight functional strength session (tailored to your individual abilities)

  • Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilisation (DNS) Introduction & DNS Mobility Flow Class

  • A nutrition seminar via Zoom by one of Adelaide’s top Nutritionists, Dayni, with an opportunity to ask her questions.

  • Introduction to Jump Rope/Skipping (with options to join in without having to jump if you don’t want to or can’t due to injury) and Hanging (a great way to release tension in shoulders/upper & lower back)

  • Guidance around how to discover your ideal nutrition intake (Calories & Macros) and how to simplify planning/creating high protein meals/snacks

  • Nourishing, tasty meals & snacks each day.

  • You will also have moments of FREE TIME throughout the day to relax and do what makes you happy. There’ll be board games and chill out spaces so after all the learning and moving we can laugh, chill out & have some fun!

Dayni will be doing a Zoom seminar on how to optimise your Nutrition…
